William (Wally) Huston Ethington

William (Wally) Huston Ethington, age 49, of Defoe, died Friday, January 16, 2015 at his residence. He was born in LaGrange on July 15, 1965. He was a barber and had worked as an assembly worker at General Electric in Louisville. He was a member of Pleasant View United Methodist Church. He is survived by his daughter: Gabriella Ethington of Corinth; and his parents: Huston Wayne Ethington and Bonnie Lou McGaughey Ethington of Defoe. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Rev. Larry Rhodes, pastor of Metropolitan Baptist Church, and Rev. Melvin Shilts, pastor of Pleasant View United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Defoe Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday, January 19, 2015 at the funeral home, and from 11 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday. Honorary pallbearers are Sammy Wood, Marty Kelley, Earl Fortner, John Shuck, Shad Hinkley, Josh Poole, Tim Robinson and Cory Hinkley.
