William Kirby Beverly

William Kirby Beverly, age 71, of the Bethlehem Community of Pleasureville, died Saturday, February 23, 2019 at his residence. He was born July 3, 1947, in Gratz, and was the son of the late James William Beverly and Chlora Mae Bratcher Beverly. He was farmer and a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in the Korean War.

He is survived by his care givers: Lawrence and Felcia Beverly of Drennon; and several cousins.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Brother Arnold Bennett Chisholm will officiate. Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2019 and from 11 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday. Burial will be in Pleasureville Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers are Violet Spear, Austin Beverly, Carol Jean Smither, Joey Kephart, Brad Steverson, and Nancy Steverson. Active pallbearers are Lawrence Beverly, Tony Beverly, Wesley Beverly, Calvin Beverly, Josh Beverly, and Robert Beverly.
