Wanda Jane Smith Browning

Wanda Jane Smith Browning, age 84, of Eminence, KY passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023, at her residence.  She was born on November 11, 1938, in Gratz, KY, the daughter of Nim Rod and Pauline Gray Beverly Smith. Wanda was a member of Pleasureville Baptist Church and was the former owner/operator of Browning Chevrolet Dealership, in Eminence, with her husband Marlyn Browning.

She is survived by one daughter; Marlene (Jason) Browning-Wainscott of Owenton, KY, one son; Jeffrey L. (Helen) Browning of Pleasureville, KY, two sisters; Nannie Elizabeth Presnell of Frankfort, KY, and Wilma Louise Kinman of Carrollton, KY, one brother; Oldham Smith of Owenton, KY, three grandchildren; Emily Browning (Joey Eberling), Sara (T.J.) Kelley and Olivia (Matt) First and one great grandchild; Emmy Kelley. She is preceded in death by her husband; Marlyn S. Browning (2017), two sisters; Glenna Smith and Vera Margaret Towles and three brothers; Manford Hayse Smith, Albert Lee Smith and Donald Winters. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Pleasureville Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Anderson and Rev. Richard Downing officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 10:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M., at Pleasureville Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Pleasureville Cemetery.
