WALDINE STIVERS, age 81 of Pleasureville, KY Waldine Stivers, age 81 of Pleasureville, died Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Jewish Hospital in Shelbyville. She was born in Elmburg, KY, and was the daughter of the late Lindsay Phillip Stivers and Willie Nelson Stivers. She retired from the Retail Clothing Industry, and was a member of Elmburg Baptist Church where she served as pianist and organist. She is survived by her sister: Phyllis Herrell of Shelbyville; one nephew: Phillip Herrell of Shelbyville; and two nieces: Donna Chowning of Lexington and Penny Jones of Radcliff. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, August 2, 2013 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville with Rev. Brad Jennings, pastor of Elmburg Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Defoe Cemetery. Pallbearers include Ricky Adler, Nathan Chowning, Phillip Herrell, Bobby Pridemore, Bobby Wood and Robbie Wood.
