VERLIN O. (DICK) DICKMAN, age 80 of Pleasureville, KY Verlin O. (Dick) Dickman, age 80 of Pleasureville died Saturday, April 27, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Toledo, Ohio and was the son of the late O. G. Dickman and Elizabeth P. Tyler Dickman. He was a drywall finisher, a farmer and member of Southeast Christian Church. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the American Legion. He is survived by two sons: Steven J. Dickman of Clarksville, Indiana, and Gary K. Dickman (Tabitha) of Louisville; six grandchildren: Steven J., Summer, Kala, Keith, Karema, and Kamerynn; two sisters: Thelma Kohler of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, and Darlene Clingan of Lewisberry, Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville with Brother Fred Snider officiating. Interment will be in Grub-Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2013 and from 10 a.m. until service time on Wednesday. Online condolences may be expressed at sholarfuneralhome.com.
