Thomas Kelly Ferguson, age 81 of Eminence, died Friday, February 3, 2017 at his residence. He was born August 8, 1935 in Metropolis, Illinois and was the son of the late Kelly Thomas Ferguson and Marguerite Mignon Golightly Ferguson. He retired from the Brunswick Corporation in Eminence where he worked as an Industrial Engineer. In addition, he was owner/operator of Chat-n-Nibble in Eminence for the past 27 years, and he belonged to the Christian Church of Metropolis, Illinois.
He is survived by his wife: Alice Carol Sharp Ferguson of Eminence; two sons: Kelly Thomas Ferguson (Ruth) of Hyattsville, Maryland and Robert Gregory Ferguson (Carrie) of St. Louisville, Ohio; three daughters: Kimberly Joan Cravens (Denny), Kristy Ann Bond (Lawrence), and Michelle Antoinette “Toni” Moore (Jeffrey), all of Eminence; twelve grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Eminence Christian Church with J.T. Stinson officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday.
