Thomas Edward Easley, Sr., age 90 of Pleasureville passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Baptist Health of Louisville. He was born on December 10, 1924 in Jefferson County and was the son of the late Claude and Goldie Badgett Easley. He had retired as a relief supervisor at Chevron Asphalt in Louisville and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Louisville VFW Post # 3636, Louisville American Legion Post # 201, a member of Pleasureville United Methodist Church and a former member of Crescent Hill United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife: Lillian Moody Easley of Pleasureville; one sister: Margie Schooling of Louisville; two grandchildren: Tommy Nall and Pam Carl; one great-grandchild: Anissa; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife: Frances Marshall Easley; his son: Thomas E. Easley, Jr.; a daughter: Candice A. Bailey; and a brother: Richard V. Easley. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Elmburg Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Jennings officiating. Entombment will be in Resthaven Cemetery in Louisville. Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at the church. Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to Hosparus of Louisville.
