Shirley Ann Woods

Shirley Ann Woods, age 83, of Shelbyville, died Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Unit in Louisville. She was born January 10, 1935, in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, and was the daughter of the late Albert William Duso and Edith Marie Morse Duso. She had worked at General Electric in Louisville where she retired in 1997. She was a member of Eminence United Methodist Church.

She is survived by one son: Albert Michael Duso (Virginia) of Shelbyville; one daughter: Deborah Lee Harp (David) of Louisville; a sister-in-law: Genie Duso of New Hampshire; two grandchildren: Albert Leslie Duso (Keri), and Kimberly Ann Cape (Matt); one great-grandchild: Alaina Duso; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 19, 2018 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Rev. Jerry Anderson, pastor of Pleasureville Baptist Church, will officiate. Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2018 and from 10 a.m. until time of services on Monday. Burial will be in Pleasureville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Albert L. Duso, Albert M. Duso, Roger Cherry, Allan Scherer, Louis Perez, and Gary Grigsby.
