Sheila Rose (Coble) Sullivan, born on September 27, 1962, to the late Dennis E. Coble and Lora M. Mosely Coble Anderson, in Jasper, Indiana, passed away on August 29, 2024, at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Sheila leaves behind a legacy of compassion, dedication, and service that touched many lives throughout her career and personal journey.
A proud veteran, Sheila honorably served in the United States Navy before dedicating her professional life to nursing. As an agency nurse within the prison system, she utilized her expertise to care for those in need, providing not just medical attention but also empathy and understanding in a challenging environment.
Sheila's unwavering commitment to her family and friends further defined her character. Her beloved husband, Randall Michael Sullivan, stands as a testament to the deep love and partnership they shared. She is also survived by her sister, Ann C. Toby of Louisville, Kentucky, and two brothers, J.B. Coble of Worthville, Kentucky, and Wayne Anderson of Taylorsville, Kentucky. The joy of family continued with her cherished niece, Lori Toby of Tampa, Florida, and her nephew, Ronnie Buley of Bardstown, Kentucky.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Carla A. Coble, and her brother, Dennis Eugene Coble. They remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, forever remembered alongside her.
As family and friends gather to honor the memory of Sheila Rose Sullivan, her remarkable spirit will continue to inspire and comfort those she leaves behind. Her life's work and the love she shared will serve as a guiding light for all who were fortunate enough to know her.
