Samuel Jefferson Perry

Samuel Jefferson Perry, age 94 of Pleasureville, died Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at the Providence Richwood in LaGrange. He was born in Cropper and was the son of the late Sam and Bertha Beckley Perry. He was a farmer and belonged to Defoe Christian Church. He is survived by three sons: Rodney Gene Perry (Diane) of Pleasureville, Jeff Perry of Eminence, and David Perry (Tabby) of Owenton; three daughters: Diane Watson of Eminence, Connie Elswick (Gary) of Paris, and Joyce Ann Adams (H.M.) of New Albany, IN; seventeen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville with Gary Mahoney officiating. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2014. Interment will be in Pleasureville Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers are LaWanda Perry, Casey Baxter, MaShea Bramblett, and MaShell Young.
