Rosa Mae Washburn

Rosa Mae Washburn, age 76 of Bethlehem, died Monday, January 9, 2017 at Jewish Hospital in Shelbyville. She was born October 20, 1940 in Henry County, and was the daughter of the late Charles and Rosa Moppins Washburn. She was a homemaker and a member of Lockport Baptist Church.

She is survived by one brother: Charles Grover Washburn (and wife Mary) of Frankfort; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Joe Washburn and Russell Washburn; and two sisters: Stella Winters and Pauline Downey.

Funeral services are scheduled for 4 p.m. Monday, January 16, 2017, at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Services will be officiated by Bonnie Ethington. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. the day of the services. A private burial will be in Pleasureville Cemetery.
