Ronnie James Golden

Ronald (Ronnie) James Golden, age 76, of Bethlehem, died Monday, August 10, 2015 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was born February 15, 1939 in Osgood, Indiana, and was the son of the late E. C. and Dorothy Golden. He was a retired mechanic for the Commonwealth of Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. He belonged to Bethlehem United Methodist Church and Pleasureville Masonic Lodge # 410. He is survived by his wife: Madolyn Smith Golden of Bethlehem; one son: James Keith Golden (Debra) of Bethlehem; two daughters: Joann Rucker of Bedford and Lora Quire of Bethlehem; three brothers: Harold Golden (Sandy) of Louisville, Jerry Golden (Winona) of Davie, Florida, and Chilion Golden of Bethlehem; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Golden, and a sister, Janetta Ruth Golden. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, August 14, 2015 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Rev. Charles Austin and Rev. Shawn Golden will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2015, and from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral on Friday. A Masonic Service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, August 13, 2015. Burial will be in Pleasureville Cemetery.
