Roger G. Sanford

Roger G. Sanford, age 56, of Pleasureville, died Monday, April 25, 2016. He was born December 15, 1959 in Shelbyville and was the son of the late Thomas L. and Virginia Watts Sanford. He was a factory worker.

He is survived by wife: Evelyn Sanford of Pleasureville; one son: Steve McClain of Louisville; two daughters: Jenny Oray (Lenny) of Avon Lake, Ohio, and Kristen Woods (Shannon Clubb) of Pleasureville; two brothers: Bobby Sanford (Betty), and David Sanford (Patricia), all of Shelbyville; four sisters: Donna Grubb (Ken) of Mt. Sterling, Suzanne Upton (Doug) of Florida, Regina Perry (Marion) of Shelbyville, and Cindy Lyons (Garry) of Pleasureville; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville with Rev. Barbara Minton, pastor of Berea Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Cropper Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016 and from 11 a.m. until time of the service on Thursday.
