Robert "Bobby" Brown, age 68, of Franklinton, died Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Eminence and was the son of the late Herbert and Susan Cantrell Brown. He was a Realtor, a veteran of the United States Army, and belonged to Franklinton Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife: Linda D. Brown of Franklinton; one son: Gary Thomas Brown (Ramona) of Franklinton; one daughter: Genia Renea Brown of Franklinton; four brothers: Herbert Brown Jr. of Simpsonville, Ronald Brown of Mt. Eden, Elmer Brown of Waddy, and William Brown of Campbellsville: two grandchildren: Danielle Berrier (Paul), and Rebecca Raisor (Josh); one great-grandchild: Tough Thomas Webster; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Rev. Jacky Newton, pastor of Franklinton Baptist Church will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2014. Interment will be in Franklinton Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the donor's favorite church or charity. Honorary pallbearers are Kathy Tingle, Audrey Baker, Lyle Baker, Robert Morris, Sam Frazier, Ronnie Bryant, Patsy Temple, Barb Coons, and Lou Coons.
