Richard Scott Watts, 64, of Pleasureville, KY entered eternal rest on Wednesday morning December 28, 2022, at the University of Louisville Hospital. Scott entered life in Shelbyville, KY on January 31, 1958, the son of Andrew Jackson Watts, Jr. and Bebee Joy Sandford Watts. He was a member of Pleasureville Baptist Church and was retired as Shipping Supervisor for Steel Technologies in Eminence, KY after 47 years service. Scott, an avid fisherman, was a member of the Bass Masters Association, enjoyed his time spent with family, skeet shooting, bowling, tinkering and outings to the family farm.
Left to mourn his passing is a daughter; Candice L. Satterly and her husband, Nathan of Turners Station, KY, his mother; Bebee Joy Sandford Watts of Pleasureville, KY, a sister; Marsha Gail Miller of Russell Springs, KY, two brothers; Larry W. Watts of Waddy, KY and William P. Watts of Eminence, KY and a granddaughter; Penelope G. Satterly of Turners Station, KY. He was preceded in death by his wife; Wanda Ann Watts on February 1, 2020 and his father; Andrew Jackson Watts, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, December 31, 2022 at the Sholar-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Downing officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M., Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Cropper Cemetery.
