Reva Joyce Stivers Vest

Reva Joyce Stivers Vest, age 85, of Bagdad, KY passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at U of L Health Shelbyville.  She was born on March 18, 1937, in Jacksonville, KY, the daughter of Golden Wesley Stivers and Archie Jane Onan Stivers Brown. Reva was a member of Indian Fork Baptist Church in Bagdad, KY. She was a retired packer at Atlantic Envelope and was a former receptionist at Cedarmore Baptist Camp.

She is survived by one son; Bobby Ray Vest, Jr. and his wife, Rita Faye Vest, of Shelbyville, KY, one son-in-law; Denny Brooks of New Castle, KY, two brothers; Rodman Brown of Bagdad, KY, and Steve Brown of Bagdad, KY, four grandchildren; Bobby Ray Vest III, Lisa Ann Vest Kayrouz, Chrystal Cottrell, and Randy Brooks, and several great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband; Bobby Ray Vest, Sr., one daughter; Debbie Brooks, one grandchild; Angie Brooks, and one brother; William S. Brown, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 13, 2023, at Sholar-Riley Funeral Home with Rev. Kyle Wiley officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, March 13, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M., at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Bagdad Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Vest III, Johnny Kayrouz, Christopher Brown, Cameron Brown, Jason Brown and Adam Brown.
