Rev. Donnie Allen Briscoe

Rev. Donnie Allen Briscoe, age 68 of Pleasureville passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015 in Lawrenceburg. He was born on July 8, 1946 in Anderson County. He worked in firearm sales, and was a member and former Pastor of Lockport United Methodist Church. He is survived by his mother: Lorena Mae Briscoe of Lawrenceburg; three sons: Brad Briscoe (April) of Jacksonville, Florida, Tim Shaw of Lawrenceburg and Paul Briscoe (Janetta) of Pleasureville; and four grandchildren: Bristol Briscoe of Jacksonville, Florida, Josh Shaw and Jordan Shaw, both of New Castle and Jayden Briscoe of Pleasureville. He was preceded in death by this father, Collie Curtis Briscoe. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville with Rev. Roy Temple of Pleasant Hill Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Eminence Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at the funeral home.
