Regina Darlene Bohannon Sams

Regina Darlene Bohannon Sams, age 49, of Eminence, KY passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022, at U of L Health Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was born on January 28, 1973, in Shelbyville, KY the daughter of Donald Ray and Shirley Jean Grigsby Bohannon. Regina was a member of Crossroads Lighthouse Church in Eminence. She enjoyed music and singing and loved her cats.

She is survived by her husband; Robert L. Sams of Eminence, KY and her mother; Shirley Bohannon of Eminence, KY. She is preceded in death by her father; Donald Ray Bohannon (2021) and one sister; Anita Jo “Tater Bug” Bohannon.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Sholar-Riley Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Harvey and Rev. Nathan Shaw Jr. officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 13, 2022, from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M., at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Eminence Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jason Brown, Justin Blanford, Rosco Woosley, Royce Pryon, Scott Owens and Roy Gaddis.
