Peggy Jean Fisher, age 78 of Lockport, died Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at her residence. She was born in Monterey on February 20, 1937, and was the daughter of the late Elmer and Edith Mae Thornton Tillett. She was a homemaker and a member of Lockport Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons: Darrell Wayne Fisher (Tina) of Lockport, and Bradley Lynn Fisher of Turners Station; an honorary son: Willie Palmer of Port Royal; two daughters: Carol Jean Coomes (John) of Eminence, and Kimberly Ann Ballard of Owenton, one brother: Wayne Tillett (Shirley) of Olive Hill; one sister: Dana Lee (James) of Bethlehem; ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: James H. Fisher; a brother: Donnie Tillett; and four sisters: Barbara Smith, Sue Tillett, Janice Jones, and Dorothy Rice. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, October 18, 2015, at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville with Rev. Paul Briscoe, pastor of Lockport Baptist Church, officiating. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2015, and 12 noon until time of the service on Sunday. Interment will be in Pleasureville Cemetery. Pallbearers are Richie Banta, Clinton Cook, Adam Fisher, Ben Fisher, Brandon Fisher, Scotty Fitzgerald, Anthony Knight, Willie Palmer, and Cody Snider.
