Nancy B. Simpson

Nancy Lou Brewer Simpson, age 74, of Eminence, KY passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at her residence. She was born on October 28, 1948, in New Castle, KY, the daughter of Winford Brewer and Mable Aldridge Stephens. Nancy worked at Eminence Speaker for 35 years as a line supervisor. She enjoyed 50’s music, animals, fishing, cooking and baking.  

She is survived by one son; Waldo Simpson, Jr. (Esther) of Pleasureville, KY, three sisters; Elizabeth Stivers (Danny) of Eminence, KY, Darlene Brewer (Greg) of Owenton, KY, and Pam Brewer (Delbert) of Eminence, KY, two brothers; Winford Brewer (Judy) of Pleasureville, KY, and Robert Brewer (Dee Dee) of Eminence, KY, one special friend; Lois Jamison of Eminence, KY, her special caregiver; Michelle Winters of Eminence, KY, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband; Waldo Simpson, Sr. and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Sholar-Riley Funeral Home with Bro. Jamie Tingle officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, October 2, 2023, from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Burial will be in the Eminence Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be McKenzie Winters and Tiffany Winters. Pallbearers will be Shelly Jamison, Chris Banta, Jeremy Clark, Carl Tingle, Danny Stivers,  Rodney Abbott, Danny  Clark and Chad Heightchew.
