Nancy Doris Fisher Booth, age 77, of Shelbyville, died Friday, October 28, 2016, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was born August 20, 1939 in Gratz, and was the daughter of the late Alix and Mary Daphne Fisher. She was a homemaker and a member of Crossroads Lighthouse Church in Eminence.
She is survived by her husband: David H. Booth of Shelbyville; five sons: Ricky Fisher of Lockport, Phillip Booth of Shelbyville, Matthew Booth (Darlene) of Pleasureville; David “Frog” Booth (Sherry) of Shelbyville, and Robert Booth (Lisa) of Bethlehem; three daughters: Vicky Upchurch of Shelbyville, Teresa Glascoe (Bill) of Shelbyville, and Cindy Washburn (Steve) of Lawrenceburg; two sisters: Barbara Jean Chadwell of Eminence, and Patsy Boling of Frankfort; one brother: Alex Fisher, Jr. of Lockport; nineteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at Crossroads Lighthouse Church, 220 Clear Creek Road, Eminence, KY 40019. Services will be officiated by Rev. Paul Harvey and Rev. Tony Andrade. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville, and from 11 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday the church. Burial will be in Pleasureville Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers include Ricky Fisher, Garland Chadwell, Bill Glascoe, Noah Booth, Fredrick Tindle, and Jason Boling. Active pallbearers include Mike Fisher, Steve Corn, Taylor Booth, Jordan Booth, Matthew Booth, Phillip M. Booth, Joshua Broughton, and Wesley Broughton.
