Nancy Evelyn Adler Heightchew

Nancy Evelyn Adler Heightchew, age 82, of Bethlehem, died Sunday, April 2, 2017 at New Castle Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born in Bethlehem on June 5, 1934, and was the daughter of the late William Edward Adler and Anna Gardner Adler. She retired from the Kentucky Labor Cabinet and was a member of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church.

She is survived by sons: Norris (Butch) Adams of Florida, Arthur Thomas Adams of Bethlehem, and Michael Shawn Gregory of Eminence; daughters: Gwen Winters of Bethlehem, Joanna Woods (Rickey) of Bethlehem, and Suzanna McGohon (Ike) of Pleasure Ridge Park; nephew: Robert (Bo) Moody of Bethlehem; sister: Elizabeth Adler of Indianapolis; eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Delmar Heigthchew.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2017, at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Rev. Lexie Fuson, pastor of the Pleasureville United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Pleasureville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2017 and after 11 a.m. until time of service on Friday.

Pallbearers include Corey McGohon, Chris Justice, Ike McGohon, Rickey Woods, Trey Gregory, and Cole Gregory.
