MARY PHYLLIS COONS-WELLS, age 61, of Winchester, Kentucky Mary Phyllis Coons-Wells, age 61, of Winchester, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at her home. She was born in Eminence, Kentucky on October 31, 1951, daughter of the late Jack Coons Sr. and Sue Aldridge-Kindred. She was a housewife and stay at home mom. She was a member of White Oak Baptist Church for many years in Nancy, Kentucky. She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Robert (Bob) H. Wells, whom she married on July 11, 1998; her mother, Sue Aldridge Kindred of Eminence, Kentucky; two daughters: Cynthia Bowling Douglas of Ferguson, Kentucky, Oreida Bowling-Whiles & (Tim) Whiles of Ferguson, Kentucky; five grandchildren: Amber & (Keegan) Bray of Somerset, Kentucky, Jessica & (Ben) Meeks of Science Hill, Kentucky, Seath Whiles of Ferguson, Kentucky, Zachary Whiles of Ferguson and Laura Douglas of Ferguson, Kentucky; three great-grandchildren: Elijah and Gracelyn Meeks of Science Hill, Kentucky and Kinley Bray of Somerset, Kentucky; two brothers: Jack Jr. (Jake) & Shirley Coons of Eminence, Kentucky, and George & (Sue) Coons of LaGrange, Kentucky; one sister: Glenna & (Robert) Chisholm of Columbia, Missouri along with many nieces and nephews, one step-daughter, Stacy Wells of Richmond, Kentucky and four step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Coons Sr. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. for family and 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. for friends on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2012 with Rev. Nick Coleman officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens Cemetery of Somerset, Kentucky.
