Mary Mary Ethel Craig NEWMAN, age 91 of Pleasureville, KY Mary Ethel Craig NEWMAN, age 91 of Pleasureville died Monday, October 8, 2012 at Jewish Hospital in Shelbyville. She was born in Frankfort, KY and was the daughter of the late Marshall Thurman and Elizabeth Gayhart Craig. She was a homemaker, had worked at Brunswick Manufacturing, and was a member of the Christian faith. She is survived by her son: Teddy Newman of Pleasureville; her daughter: Dana D. Newman Courtney of Graham, NC; grandchildren: Emma Dale Newman of Lawrenceburg, IN and James Newman of Fort St. Lucia, FL; young friend: Christian Courtney of Richmond, VA; and several cousins. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville with Mr. Howard Lee Byers officiating. Interment will be in Defoe Cemetery.
