Lowell Thomas "T" Adams

Lowell Thomas “T” Adams, age 87, of Pleasureville, KY passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022, peacefully at his home. He was born on January 30, 1935, in Bethlehem, KY, the son of Arthur Ricketts and Laurel Sutton Adams. “T” was a member of Pleasureville Baptist Church and in 2006, after 28 years, retired as plant manager of Riverside Paving Co., in Louisville, KY. He also farmed. He loved his family and his neighbors and old tractors, farm equipment and tractor pulls.

He is survived by his wife; Elizabeth “Betty” Parris Adams of Pleasureville, KY, two sons; Norris Allen “Butch” (Sheree) Adams of Murfreesboro, TN and Robert “Bo” (Marcia) Moody of Bethlehem, KY, four daughters; Gwen Adams Winters of Bethlehem, KY, Joanna (Ricky) Woods of Bethlehem, KY, Suzanna (Ike) McGohon of Pleasure Ridge Park, KY, and Robin Cain Wheatley of Frankfort, KY, 15 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by one son; Arthur Thomas Adams, two brothers, Thomas Adams and Jewell Ray Adams, five sisters; Marguerite Howell, Eva Shuck, Joan Peak, Peggy Payne and Jean Yount and one grandson; Samuel Thomas Edward Winters.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Sholar-Riley Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Anderson  officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, December 5, 2022, from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M., at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Pleasureville Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be Edie Vest, Liz Fremd, Kyle Jolly, Danny Woods, Gary Yount and Marcella Yount. Active pallbearers will be Jo Adams, Trey Gregory, Cole Gregory, Michael Gregory, Kevin Wheatly, Breyden Adams and Jayme Cosonka.
