Lois Jean (Steele) Thomas, age 74 of Pleasureville Lois Jean (Steele) Thomas, age 74 of Pleasureville died Sunday June 10, 2012 at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville. She had worked in accounting for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Carl Adams Chapter #490, and was a life-long member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband: Gus S. Thomas of Pleasureville; one son: Gusta Lynn "Gus" Thomas (Jane) of Shelbyville; one daughter: Deborah Thomas Gill of Shelbyville; four grandchildren: Nolan Gusta Thomas, Madeline Claire Thomas, Ryan Thomas Gill and Joshua Lee Gill; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Viola Coomer Steele and aunt, Isie Reynolds. Funeral services 1 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville with Rev. Billy D. Marcum and Rev. Travis Sheehan officiating. Interment in Pleasureville Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers include Billy Hackett, Johnny Kelly, Joey Kephart, Randy McAlister, Tommy McAlister, Julian Porter Roberts, Justin Turner, and Barry Woods. Active pallbearers include Matt Collins, Joshua Gill, Ryan Gill, Dwayne Thomas, Madeline Thomas, Nolan Thomas, and Regan Thomas.
