Kenneth E. Kelley

Kenneth E. Kelly, age 93 of Pleasureville, died Monday, June 5, 2017 in Louisville. He was born July 16, 1923 in Gest, KY and was the son of the late Daniel and Jeanetta Hopper Kelley. He was retired from Ford Motor Corporation, was a member of Pleasureville United Methodist Church and was a United Stated Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of VFW Post #3904 in Rockport Texas, American Legion Post #0200 of Louisville and Solomon’s Lodge # 5 Free and Accepted Masons of Shelbyville.

He is survived by his son: Larry Keith Kelley of Cropper; his daughter: Kitty L. Kelley Percival (Richard A.) of Canton, Michigan; a brother: Thomas M. Thomas (Sandy) of Marquette, Michigan; two step-sisters: Rayevetta Kelly of Metropolis, Illinois and Sybil Jane Vice of Cynthiana; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Alice Livesay Kelley.

A private burial was held at Pleasureville Cemetery. There will be no visitation or services. Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville is in charge of arrangements.
