Jerry Dale Godbey

Jerry Dale Godbey, age 70, of the Orville Community of Pleasureville, passed away October 29, 2020 at his residence. He was born January 18, 1950 to the late Jefferson and Orpha Manola Phillippe Godbey. He was a self-employed heavy equipment operator.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Louise Woods. Survivors are his daughter: Benita Carol Schiess of Louisville; brother: Terry Godbey of Carrollton; sisters: Darlena Austin of Edinburgh, Indiana and Joyce Rose of Carrollton; two grandchildren: Richard Godbey of Louisville and Charles Schiess of Campbellsville, and three great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 5 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Bro. Charles LeCompte will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of services.
