Jc Suter

JC Suter, age 70 of New Castle died Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville. He was born March 2, 1948 in New Castle, and was the son of the late Eugene and Hazel Tingle Suter. He was a carpenter and previously served as the Henry County Jailer.

He is survived by his wife: Marie Raisor Suter of New Castle; three sons: JC Suter, Jr. (Beth) of Pleasureville, Ricky Wallace (Diana) of Pendleton, and Bruce W. Lyons (Donna) of Campbellsburg; two daughters: Valda Jo Jones and Vickie Carpenter (Harold), all of New Castle; two sisters: Lunora Reeves of Louisville and Phyllis Sackman of Vero Beach, Florida; thirteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas Suter, Bill Suter, Sanford Suter, and Leonard Suter

Funeral services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Reverend Iva Sams will officiate. Burial will be in New Castle Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, May 28, 2018 and from 11 a.m. until time of the service on Tuesday.
