Janet Payne Abner, has peacefully passed away at the age of 68 in Campbellsburg, Henry County, KY. She was born on July 12, 1955, in Shelbyville, Shelby County, KY.
In her professional career, Payroll Administrator for Henry County Board of Education for 31 years, Janet was known for her dedication and meticulous work. Her commitment and proficiency left a lasting impact on all those she worked with.
Janet's life will be commemorated at the Sholar-Riley Funeral Home in Pleasureville, KY. The services will include a Gathering of Friends and Family on May 19, 2024, starting at 2:00 PM and a Celebration of Life following at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Janet Payne Abner is survived by her loving son B. J. (Renee Kay) Abner of Bowling Green, KY. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Drew Harrison Abner, Aiden James Abner, and Emma Lynn Abner.
Janet was preceded in death by three sisters - Linda Payne Grauman, Gayla Sue Payne, and Rita Carol Payne Bright. Their spirits now reunite with Janet as they watch over their family together.
Janet's dedication to her work and love for her family will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace knowing that she touched the lives of many with kindness and grace.
