JAMES EARL BOHANNON, age 55, of Campbellsburg, KY James Earl Bohannon, age 55, of Campbellsburg, died Friday, June 14, 2013, at his residence. He was born in Shelbyville on August 6, 1957 and was the son of the late Frank and Ruth Adler Bohannon. He was a guard at the Kentucky State Reformatory, Roederer Correctional Complex near La Grange, and was a member of Eminence Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife: Gina Bartley Bohannon of Campbellsburg; two sons: Robert Bohannon (Amanda) of Louisville, and Michael Bohannon (Jessica) of Mt. Washington; two grandchildren: Kendrick Bohannon and Chloe Bohannon; two sisters: Elaine Taylor (Don) of Cropper, and Donna King (Bruce) of Horse Cave; and his beloved cat "Precious." Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 2013, at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville with Rev. Michael Duncan, pastor of Eminence Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Pleasureville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013 and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Sunday, June 16, 2013. Pallbearers include Daniel Bartley, Darrin Bartley, Tim Bartley, Nicholas King, Mike Payton and Alex Taylor. Online condolences may be expressed at sholarfuneralhome.com.
