Irene M. Rucker

Irene M. Rucker, age 90 of Campbellsburg Irene M. Rucker, age 90 of Campbellsburg, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Friendship Manor in Peewee Valley. She was born in Waco, KY, and was the daughter of the late Rufus Lee Moberly and Helen Fielder Moberly. She was a cook for the Henry County School System for twenty years and member of Campbellsburg Christian Church. She is survived by one stepson: Jimmie Baker of Maryville, TN; two daughters: Phyllis Jean Hedges of Buckner and Debbie Baird (Don) of Lexington; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grand children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Rucker, a son, Jerry Rucker, two brothers, Rufus Lee Moberly. Jr., and Marvin Moberly, and a sister, Mary Thelma Moberly McIntosh. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2013 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville with Rev. Carl Rucker and Rev. Rob Shrader officiating. Entombment will be in Defoe Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013 and from 10 a.m. until service time on Friday.
