Hester Louise Perry Carter

Hester Louise Perry Carter, age 88 of Franklinton, died Friday, April 25, 2014 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. She was born in Shelby County and was the daughter of the late Sam and Bertha Beckley Perry. She was a homemaker and a member of Franklinton Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband: Carroll S. Carter of Franklinton; two sons: George Jones and Jerry Jones, both of Frankfort; one daughter: Denise Powell of Pleasureville; one brother: Sammy Perry of LaGrange; several step-children, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville with Rev. Jacky Newton, pastor of Franklinton Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Pleasureville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Gordon, Colton Lane Jones, Missy Jones, Dominique George, Michael Derringer, Alli Grace Gordon, Amanda Mullins and Karina George.
