Herbert Joy Fallis

Herbert Joy Fallis, age 81 of Pleasureville, died Monday, December 29, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Shelbyville and was the son of the late F.V and Alma Kephart Fallis. He was a farmer, tobacco warehouseman and a member of Cropper Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife: Eloise Stivers Fallis; one son: Victor Ray Fallis (Barbara) of Pleasureville; one brother: Victor F. Fallis of Pleasureville; eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, three nieces and one nephew. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Cecilia Joy McKinley. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, January 2, 2015 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville with Rev. Jerry Anderson, pastor of Pleasureville Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Pleasureville Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 - 8 p.m. Thursday, January 1, 2015 at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until time of the funeral on Friday.
