Hazel L. Thomas

Hazel L. Thomas, age 88, of Eminence, died Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the Masonic Home in Shelbyville. She was born March 4, 1929 and was the daughter of the late Dennis and Parrilee Lambert.

She is survived by one son: Estill Thomas, Jr. (Stephanie) of Eminence; five grandchildren: Wanda Denise Mathus of Frankfort, Ryan Arnold of Pleasureville, Carolyn Peffer (Eddie) of Lawrenceburg, Matthew Thomas of Eminence, and Lauren Thomas of Eminence; and five great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Estill Thomas, Sr.; one daughter: Wanda Kay Arnold; and one great-granddaughter.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, August 25, 2017, at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Rev. Jesse Baxter, chaplain of the Masonic Home in Shelbyville, will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasureville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 pm. until 8 p.m. Thursday, August 25, 2017, and from 10 a.m. until time of services on Friday.
