Gayle Thomas Bramblett, age 78 of Orville, died Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Baptist Health, Louisville. He was born February 23, 1939 in Clements Bottom, and was the son of the late Frank and Ella Broughton Bramblett. He was a carpenter and farmer, and was a member of Orville Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife: Helen Aldridge Bramblett, four children: Gayle Scott Bramblett, Beverly Bramblett Hutcherson (Greg), Bradley Ray Bramblett, and Jennifer Bramblett Johnson (Jim); three granddaughters: Clarissa Gayle Hutcherson Whitaker (Mat), Lindsey Mae Hutcherson Alberts (Alec), and Whitney Scott Bramblett; great-grandchildren: Hannah, Noah and Michah Whitaker, and Sawyer and Bailey Alberts; and one brother: Dan Bramblett (Robin).
He is preceded in death by brothers and sisters: Ethel Bramblett Lawson, Raymond Bramblett, Jamsie Bramblett, Margaret Bramblett Spurr, Katherine Bramblett Wells, Gladys Bramblett Newman, Elmer Lee Bramblett, and Kenneth Bramblett.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, January 18, 2018, at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Services will be officiated by Rev. Mat Whitaker and Mr. Alec Alberts. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2018, and from 10 a.m. until time of services on Thursday. Burial will be in Lebanon Community Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Billy Bramblett, Jody Bramblett, Alex Spurr, Bobby Downey, Troy Downey, and Brian McGuire.
