Frieda Mae Kelley

Frieda Mae Lee Kelley, age 83 of Pleasureville, died Monday, January 15, 2018, at her residence. She was born February 14, 1934 in Gest, KY, and was the daughter of the late Howard and Dorothy Hall Lee. She was a homemaker and was owner of Frieda’s Beauty Shop for twenty-five years. She was a member of Pleasureville United Methodist Church and a member of the United Methodist Women.

She is survived by her son: Gary Lewis Kelley of Pleasureville; her daughter: Patricia Gail Watts of Pleasureville; and two grandchildren: Michael Keith Watts (Amanda), and Kelley LeeAnn Watts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Lewis Kelley.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Services will be officiated by Rev. Owen Dolin, pastor of Pleasureville United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2018, and from 11 a.m. until time of services on Saturday. Burial will be in Pleasureville Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be Lambert Webb, Donnie Black, Gayle Harper, Larry Kelley, Clarence Gilbert, Elbert Webb, Larry Chisholm, Tommy Chisholm, Barbara Myers, Debbie Bohannon, Doug Raisor, and Gary Dees.

Active pallbearers will be Roy Weeks, Larry Watts, Danny Ellis, Ben Francis, Travis Ashcraft, and Michael Watts.
