Frank Bohannon, age 75 of Pleasureville, died Friday, March 2, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Jacksonville, the son of the late Gilbert and Lillie Dowden Bohannon. Mr. Bohannon was a retired dairy farmer and a member of Elmburg Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He is survived by his wife: Ruth Adler Bohannon of Pleasureville; brother-in-law: Ronnie Adler of Pleasureville; one son: James Bohannon (Gina) of Port Royal; two daughters: Elaine Taylor (Don) of Cropper and Donna King (Bruce) of Horse Cave; one brother: Donald Bohannon (Shirley) of Eminence; three sisters: Beatrice Quire (Allen) of Madison, Indiana, Mary Belle Gibson (Willis) of Ohio, and Loretta Jones (Marvin) of Crestwood; seven grandchildren: Robert Bohannon (Amanda), Michael Bohannon (Jessica), Cassandra Couey, Lydia Couey, Alexander Taylor, Khristian Chilton, and Nicholas King; two great grandchildren: Kendric Bohannon and Chloe Bohannon; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held 1 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2012 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Rev. David Crowther, pastor of Elmburg Baptist Church officiated.
