Emma J. (Hershberger) Yoder

Emma J. Hershberger Yoder, age 48, of the Defoe area of Pleasureville, Henry County, KY passed this life at the Rubio Cancer Center Hospital in Tijuana, Mexico on September 8, 2024 at 10:45 P.M. She was born July 23, 1976 in Etheridge, Lawrence County, TN to the late Jacob and Emma (Gingerich) Hershberger. Emma was a member of the Pleasureville Old Order Amish Church. 

She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, Harry R. Yoder whom she married on June 15, 2017, six children; Jacob, Aaron, Katura, Lavina Mae and Titus Andrew of Pleasureville, KY and Martha married to Joel Miller of Jonesville, KY, seven sisters; Katie of KY, Amanda of KY, and Lizzie of OH, Lavina of KY, Sarah of AL, Dena of FL and Saloma of KS, six brothers; Daniel and Uriah of KY, Herman of NC, Abraham of TN, Jacob of OH, Annanias of AL, a step-sister, Fannie Mast, and three step-brothers, Andrew, David and Abraham Mast, her step-mother; Polly Hershberger of IN, She is preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Dennis Yoder. 

Funeral Services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Monday, September, 16, 2024 at the Pleasureville Community Building at 9160 Castle Highway, Pleasureville, KY 40057 with Bishop Michael Kinsinger officiating. Visitation will be held 2:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Saturday, September 14, 2024 and 1:30 P.M. until 6:30 P.M., Sunday September 15, 2024 at Michael Kinsinger’s Building across from the family residence at 11489 Castle Highway, Pleasureville, KY 40057. Interment will take place at 3:00 P.M., Monday, September 16, 2024 at Whipperwill Valley Cemetery, 909 Dents Spring Road, Irvington, KY 40146.
