Earl Swindler

Earl Goodwin Swindler, age 96, of Louisville and formerly of Cropper, died Monday, June 15, 2015 at Baptist Health in Louisville. He was born September 17, 1918 and was the son of the late Jesse Lang and Georgia Nell Wilhoit Swindler. He was a chemical technician at Rhom- Haas Chemical Company in Louisville. He is survived by two daughters: Connie S. Price (Tom) of Georgetown and Janice Seymour (Bill) of Louisville; one sister: Corinne McGowan; four grandchildren: Stirling Sampson, Bill Seymour, Craig Price, and Kelly Brown; ten great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Louise Hall Swindler, and a daughter, Erlene Swindler. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Rev. Jerry Tracy will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2015, and from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral on Saturday. Burial will be in Pleasureville Cemetery.
