Dorothy Ann Jent

Dorothy Ann Jent, age 69, of Frankfort, died Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Hazard, Kentucky on September 30, 1947, and was the daughter of the late Dewey and Ollie Messer Wells. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by five sons: Billy Jent, Jr., Dennis Jent, Roger Jent, Ellis Ray Jent, and Michael Douglas Jent, all of Frankfort: two daughters: Darlene Smith (William) and Charlene Hano (David), all of Frankfort; one brother: James Wells of Hazard; three sisters: Norma Wells of Hazard, Katherine Jent of Hazard, and Helen Spencer of Bagdad; four grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Jent, and two brothers, Johnny Wells and Willie Wells.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Bonnie Ethington will officiate. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service on Thursday, April 20, 2017.

Pallbearers will be David Hano, William Smith, Dennis Jent, Billy Jent, Mike May, and Cody Hopkins.
