Doris Evelyn Herrell

Doris Evelyn Herrell, age 83, of Eminence, died Sunday, August 7, 2016, at Baptist Health in Louisville. She was born September 6, 1932 in Bethlehem, and was the daughter of the late Sherfy and Nellie Ebersbaker Herrell. She had worked at the Brunswick Corporation and Louisville Saydah Manufacturing in Eminence, and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers: Gayle Herrell, Elbert Herrell, Sterling Herrell, and Russell Herrell; and one sister: Hazel James.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, August 11, 2016, at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Rev. Travis Sheehan, pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church will officiate.Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday, August 11, 2016. Burial will be in Pleasureville Cemetery.
