Donald Samuel "Sammy" Kelley

Donald Samuel “Sammy” Kelley, age 71 of the Orville Community, Pleasureville, died Friday, June 22, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Louisville on November 26, 1944, and was the son of the late Wilson Eugene Kelley, Sr. and Juanita Thomas Kelley. He was a fork-lift operator for Ford Motor Company and a U.S. Army Veteran where he served with the U.S. Army Special Forces in Okinawa, Japan.

He is survived by his son: Mark Kelley of Upton; one brother: Wilson Eugene Kelley, Jr. of Louisville; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one niece, and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Thurmond Kelley, a grandchild, Stephanie K. Kelley, and a niece Karen Kelley.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2016 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service on Monday. Cremation will follow funeral services.
