Donald Ray Smither, age 69, of Waddy Donald Ray Smither, age 69, of Waddy died Thursday, March 22, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Owenton and was the son of the late Buck and Katherine Thornton Smither. He is survived by two sons: Tony Smither of LaGrange and Donnie Smither of Louisville; two daughter : Shelia Smith of Lousiville and MaLinda Husband of Simpsonville; one brother: Owen Smither of Bethlehem; one sister: Mary Moore of Lockport; ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville with visitation 10 a.m. until funeral time. Rev. Robert T. King III will officiate. Cremation was chosen. Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to Apple Patch in Crestwood, 7408 Highway 329 Crestwood, KY 40014.
