Donald Ray Bohannon, age 75, of Eminence, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at his residence. He was born July 16, 1945 to the late Gilbert Bohannon and Lilly Belle Dowden Bohannon. He was a dairy and crop farmer and was a member of Crossroads Lighthouse Church.
He is survived by his wife: Shirley Jean Bohannon of Eminence; one daughter: Regina Darlene Sams (Robert Lewis) of Eminence; and one sister: Mary Belle Gibson of Wapakoneta, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by one daughter: Anita Jo Bohannon; three brothers: Hubert Bohannon, John William Bohannon and Frank Bohannon; five sisters: Nellie Jean Kelly, Hester Raisor, Elizabeth Ann Adler, Beatrice Quire and Loretta Jones.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Bro. Nathan Shaw and Bro. Paul Harvey will officiate. Burial will be at Eminence Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Matt Booth, David Booth, Jr., Justin Lee Blanford, Eugene Woosley, Jason Brown and Ronnie Kidwell.
