Dean Stivers Belwood

Dean Stivers Belwood, age 93 of Pleasureville, died Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was born December 16, 1923 in Pleasureville, and was the daughter of the late Morrison and Marie Hughes Stivers. She was an insurance agent and also worked in the banking industry. She belonged to Point Pleasant Christian Church.

She is survived by a nephew: Bradley M. Puckett (and wife Linda) of Eminence; two great-nieces: Lyndsay Batovsky and Adina Puckett; one great-nephew: Aaron Puckett; and several Belwood relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Carey Belwood and Elmer Mitchell.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, January 8, 2017, at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Services will be officiated by Rev. Tammie Lanham, pastor of Point Pleasant Christian Church. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2017 and 1 p.m. until time of services on Sunday. Burial will be in Pleasureville Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Mike Yount, Joey Clubb, Josh Clubb, Miranda Clubb, Aaron Puckett, Bradley Puckett, Dale Roberts, and Mark Roberts.
