Danny Waford

Danny Waford, age 71 of Smithfield died Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Baptist Health La Grange. He was born on February 5, 1950 to the late Truman Bosco Waford and Beatrice Harrod Waford. He worked at the Henry County Water Company for 33 years and was a member of Southeast Christian Church.

Danny is survived by his wife: Kathy Raymer Waford; one son: Brett Daniel Waford (Stephanie) of Smithfield; two brothers: Dale Waford (Joy) of Smithfield and Davy Waford (Loretta) of Eminence; two sisters: Sue Ann Cook of La Grange and Sandy Marshall (Mark) of Shelbyville; one granddaughter: Grace Danielle Waford and several nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at Smithfield Cemetery with Rev. Nick Coleman officiating. A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date.

Pallbearers will be Tony Cook, Ricky Drawbaugh, Keith Morris and Brett Waford.
