Dale Keith Horn of Campbellsburg Kentucky, born 4-25-1967, passed through the glorious gates of Heaven on 3-23-2021. He was the son of the late David Horn and Laura Estes. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jackie Horn, sons Mathew Horn (Ashley), Greg Horn (Heather), Nathan Ritchie (Hannah); daughters Alice D. Gray (Dannielle), Katie Clark (Josh). One Brother Dave Horn (Lisa); sisters Annie Sams, Lori Lee (Jon), Becky Burton and Terri Hicks .
Nine Grandchildren; Logan, Grayson, Trevor, Alexander, Drayden, Henry, Callie, Annabelle, and Abigail. Several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were Robin Horn (Dee Dee (wife). David Horn (father), Laura Estes Horn (mother), Annie Peril Estes Smith (grandmother), Thomas Horn (grandfather).
Throughout Dales' life he served in the Kentucky National Guard, he was a Firefighter in Shelby County KY, Maintenance Man at several facilities, a Farmer and most recently an Ordained Minister.
He Loved his Grandchildren with all his heart and enjoyed spoiling each one of them in their own individual way. He enjoyed listening to many types of music, from County to Gospel. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, raising farm animals, as Pekingese dogs. He loved taking many camping trips and vacations with his family.
Dale had a powerful love, respect and faith for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He strived to bring as many as possible to know the love of Jesus. Dale very recently began a ministry outreach to Firefighters suffering with PTSD. He truly had a servants heart, and helped many people, weathered it be fundraising for families burnt out of their homes to giving someone threating suicide hope, and encouragement. He helped them to learn how to love themselves and to never lose faint in the Lord Jesus.
Dale was a member of the Pleasureville United Methodist Church.
Dales favorite saying was, "Live, Laugh, Love and always remember to be humble and kind."
Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Pleasureville United Methodist Church. Rev. Jesse Landers will officiate. Visitation will be 4p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, March 26, 2021 and from 9 a.m. until time of services on Saturday. Interment will be in Shady Lawn Cemetery.
Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville is in charge of arrangements.
