Corelle Stivers

Corelle Stivers, age 97 of Bethlehem, died Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Jewish Hospital in Shelbyville. She was born April 30, 1920, and was the daughter of the late William and Virgie Grigsby Shuck. She was a homemaker, and belonged to Bethlehem Baptist Church, where she was very active in the WMU.

She is survived by one son: Harold Dean Stivers (Suzanne) of Taylorsville; one daughter: Elaine Whitaker (Ray) of Bethlehem; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gayle Stivers.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, October 26, 2017, at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Services will be officiated by Rev. Travis Sheehan. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville, and from 11 a.m. until time of services on Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Pleasureville Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Todd Rankin, Jon Stivers, Ryan Fisher, Jeff Crump, Alan Dean Clubb, and Ryan Roberts.
