Condie McDowell Coppersmith, age 93 of Pleasureville, KY Condie McDowell Coppersmith, age 93 of Pleasureville, died Sunday, January 5, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Gest and was the daughter of the late Bertie McDowell and Elizabeth Ellis McDowell. She was retired from the Commonwealth of Kentucky Transportation Department. She belonged to the Shelbyville Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints. She is survived by one son: Freddie L. Coppersmith (Sue) of Bowling Green; two daughters: Bina B. Holbrook (Billy) of Carlisle, and Bobbie L. McDowell (Douglas) of Pleasureville; one sister: Imogene Warren Mason of Fairdale; eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred P. Coppersmith. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville.
